This privacy policy explains how Restora, a brand of Astra Essentials (Dutch Chamber of Commerce number 42200389), collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit or buy from this store. Our store runs on Shopify.

What we collect

Contact and order details: your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address.
Order information: what you buy, return or cancel.
Payment confirmation: payments are processed by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
Messages you send us, for example through our contact page.
Device and usage information: your IP address, browser and how you use the site, collected through cookies and similar technology.

How we use it

To process and deliver your order, handle returns and the 100-night trial, and answer your questions.
To send you emails you signed up for, such as Sleep notes and your welcome code. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
To show you relevant ads and measure how well they work, where the law allows.
To prevent fraud and keep the store secure.
To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping financial records.

Who we share it with

Shopify, which hosts our store.
Fulfilment partners and carriers (including our warehouses and Australia Post), so they can pack and deliver your order.
Payment providers, to take your payment.
Advertising and analytics partners such as Meta, where you have allowed this.
Review providers (Judge.me), if you choose to leave a review.
Authorities, when the law requires it.

We never sell your personal information.

Where your information is stored

Our service providers may store and process your information outside Australia and outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep order information for as long as we need it for your order, returns and our legal and tax obligations (in the Netherlands, generally 7 years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the Australian Privacy Act and the EU GDPR, you can ask to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, or object to how we use it. You can also withdraw any consent you gave. To do this, send us a message through our contact page or by email at hello@restoraau.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Children

Our store is not meant for children under 16 and we don't knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
